My Writing Story

A PEN AND PAPER ARE MY PROZAC.

One day -around 1979 to be more or less exact-my Mom asked me in her quizzical Mom voice, "What are you going to be when you grow up?" I replied without hesitation, "I'm going to be the owner of a fashion magazine."

Turns out instead, after earning my fashion degree in the 80's  I found myself choosing not to start a fashion magazine after all, in lieu of becoming a sought-after, well-respected stylist, fashion editor and contributor to many publications in South Florida.

In the heyday of South Beach I was the fashion editor for the hippest newspaper on the beach called The Wave. When the New Times bought The Wave I became the fashion editor of the New Times. Following, I was a published writer/editor featured on the masthead of Florida International Magazine, Spectrum Magazine, Postmortem News Paper, True Native Magazine and South Florida Magazine.

Since then, I have written overviews for proposed T. V. shows; my very first one landed a meeting with Bravo T.V. Network! In addition, I have written copy for all types of style related websites from vintage to designer consignment. Recently, I had a blast coming up with the name "STASH wardrobe rental" for fashion prophet Danny Santiago and writing an informative personality-driven bio for famed designer Fernando Garcia. I am enhancing people's lives further with my natural gift for writing by immersing myself in composing customized dating profiles that get results. If you are shopping for a serious relationship with a great match, let's collaborate on getting you settled down with that remarkable person.
